No invented pricing, testimonials, or download mirrors — just what is true today.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to command a crew of AI agents for real work — a shop, a store, a practice, a team. The product is shaped so power users will want it, and so a regular person can understand the idea without living in a terminal.
Is it only for software developers?
No. Software is one of the things a fleet can do, and it is where today’s build is being tested hardest. The vision is broader: point the same command deck at whatever business you run.
Can I download it now?
Not as a polished public product yet. This is pre-alpha. Maintainers can build unsigned test installers for Windows; Linux work continues. If you contribute, you build from source. Following the GitHub project is the honest next step.
Where does my data live?
On your computer. Your notes and business context stay as files you own. The local service binds only to your machine. There is no product-hosted cloud holding your business.
Do the agents run without me?
They work while you watch the deck — and they stop for decisions that need a human. You are the captain. Silent full autopilot is not the design.
What do I need besides the app?
Access to the AI agent tools the fleet will drive, and (for the always-on coordinator and live panes) the session engine the project uses. Optional: a local voice helper if you want talk-and-listen. Details live in the repository README when you are ready to dig in.
How do I follow or contribute?
The project is on GitHub: Keigyoku/vellum-app. License: AGPL-3.0-only.
Is there a signup or paid plan?
No. Pre-release means: watch the repo, build if you can, dogfood if you are invited. This site’s only call to action is the repository.
